The Moses Bridge at Fort de Roovere

The Moses Bridge (‘Mozezbrug’) is at Fort de Roovere near Halsteren, the Netherlands. Due to it’s remote location, we decided to visit this architectural gem so that we could film it and bring it to you.

The designers, RO&AD Architecten, decided that it would be inappropriate to build a bridge over the historic moat. Instead they constructed a practically invisible, mostly submerged bridge. The bridge is called “The Moses Bridge” due to it seeming to divide the waters of the moat.
